Retreat rate

Free Spirits Songwriting Retreat is $1550.

Rate includes all yoga classes, songwriting workshops, farm-to-table meals, group lodging and accommodations.

Rate also includes a photo shoot at full license of high-quality portraits of yourself for you to use in your career. Travel is not included.

Space is limited to 12 goddesses/singer-songwriters. There is an application process.

Applicants who apply by July 4 will granted an early-bird rate of $997.


Growing Heart Farm in Pawling, NY is a bohemian dream.

Farm-to-table dinners, an in-house yoga room, a rambling backyard and fire circle with the Appalachian trail just a few miles away. Growing Heart Farm is dedicated to sustainable living and conveniently located within walking distance of the Harlem Valley Wingdale Metro North train station 75 miles north of the city.

Stephanie Carlin is the founder of the Brooklyn-based songwriting school Free Spirits Music and creator of Write Your Next Album, an 8-week online bootcamp for songwriters.

She has a commitment to impact the lives of 2 million women and have them experience radical self-love through music. She performs at yoga festivals and in yoga studios as AVIDYA and her music has been featured on MTV, VH1, MSN, Elephant Journal, Yoga Teacher Magazine, and many more.

Stephanie is also the creator of the curriculum for the John Lennon Real Love Project, bringing songwriting programs to children with cancer. The project has the warm support of Yoko Ono.


Elyce Neuhauser has been a dedicated yogi for over fifteen years and her classes encourage every student to join the juicy and poetic practice to cultivate core strength, both physically and emotionally, and to dive into love through the extraordinary living practice of yoga.

She is an E-RYT 500 hour registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, certified through global vinyasa teacher Shiva Rea, who continues to inspire her to live in the flow creatively and authentically. Studying with international meditation teacher Lorin Roche, author of The Radiance Sutras, has deeply influenced and enhanced her yoga practice.

As an award-winning writer for over twenty years, she has contributed features to local and national publications on the subjects of wellness, fitness and lifestyles. She currently writes for LI Yoga Magazine and Elephant Journal and has been leading yoga classes at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck since 2009. She is the founder of the Long Island Yoga Dance Jam.
